Objective

Young RAMS gain the following skills...

• Becoming a man (of God) – Character skills & traits

• Conflict resolution

• Healthy personal hygiene

• Relationship building (family, friends, etc.)

• Budgeting & saving (finance intro)

• Goal setting

All program topics are introduced as part of a daily scriptural reference from the King James Version of the Holy Bible. Learning sessions involve interactive discussions and assignments designed to generate healthy reflection of program topics from a biblical perspective. (See session outlines)

Further enriching the the program; field trips, guest speakers and group exercises are engaged. Guest speakers involve “faith pillars” from each generation of the Pentecostal Church of God.

RAMS Camp Retreat

The PCG RAMS Annual Camp Retreat...

​

Provides young RAMS an opportunity to literally "have a ball" fellowshipping in a fun, relaxed atmosphere outside of Church. RAMS get a chance to learn and demonstrate positive Christian values as they are Introduced to the great outdoors fishing, hiking, canoeing, swimming and enjoying other fun sports, games and activities.

A "Fireside RAM Chat" is also hosted allowing senior and young RAMS to engage in deeply insightful discussions, along with a Q & A session purposed to address pertinent issues affecting young men today's modern climate.

Session Evaluations

To best evaluate the effectiveness of each program session...

PCA students are asked to complete a lesson and facilitator evaluation after each course session. The simple evaluation is used to receive and gauge student feedback about the effectiveness of the program material, the facilitator’s presentation and ideas the student may have to improve class sessions. Students may also suggest other topics of interest that they might like to see addressed within the program.

PCA RAM facilitators are also asked to complete a written Class Observation after each class session. This encourages and enables improvements to program sessions from the facilitator’s perspective.
